John L. Cunha, Managing Shareholder
John Cunha began his accounting career with Price Waterhouse (PW) in San Francisco before being transferred overseas several times and ending his career with PW in New York City. In addition to his international tax experience, Cunha has worked with small and large businesses as well as high net worth individuals. He has been an executive at some of the largest companies in the world, including Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell International and Deutsche Bank. John is both a Nevada and California CPA having earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Economics and Accounting. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Shelley S. Anderson, Senior Manager
Shelley Anderson is a Nevada Certified Public Accountant with 20 years of experience in public accounting. Shelley began her career with the big four firm Ernst & Young (EY), auditing large corporate insurance and investment clients. She was promoted twice and worked at EY’s Indiana, Philadelphia, and Stamford, CT offices. Shelley joined Mueller and Company in 2007, after a family move to Nevada, and has continued after the firm merged with John Cunha CPA, PC in June 2013. Shelley specializes in audits, reviews, compilations and business tax return preparation and other business consulting projects for our firm’s business clients, construction contractor’s, and homeowners’ associations. Shelley graduated with a BA in Accounting from Indiana University. Shelley serves for a local chapter of P.E.O., a women’s charitable organization promoting educational opportunities for women.
